The Famous Wars

The Battle of Britain book sent to me by Sir Earl Doriman, former engineering faculty who now lived with his family in Manchester, England. Thank you sir Earl! Towards the end of my high school years, I thought of taking up International Studies (IS) in college because I wanted to study the history and culture of other nations/continents, well particularly Europe, but it was not materialized because none of the universities in Mindanao offered IS back in the 90s, so I settled with a business course. But my longing to study other culture grew everyday, so when I entered college, whenever I had a vacant hour, I would go to the library and read books about Europe, the continent's glorious past, the wars, the monarchy and everything about the royalty's amusing lifestyle. Later, this fascination became a habit. Okay, so lately, despite tons of case assignments and class reports in the graduate school (where I currently enrolled 12 units), I still have enough time to

Just received the three copies of my published book online today and quite amused with its size and appearance..very glossy! The paper used in the printing is not newsprint but a thick super white bond paper American style.hehehe! But I'm having a mixed feeling right now, I don't know what it is but it felt like I want to hide it from others and don't want anybody to read it! Not that all the contents inside are messy or have so many typographical errors but the feeling is just so strange. For two hours I didn't open the book, I just stared its glossy cover and read the premise and rolled my eyes in the ceiling, hmmm ....I don't know but I am quite apprehensive with the criticism I will be receiving from the people who will read it. But this is a wonderful book and I am very proud of it, when I started researching topics for this book I had in mind to make it more like a reference book so I prepared each answer with complete explanation and description

Panti Experience and Blueberry cheesecake

Okay, the past week was not all cheery, there were days that I was annoyed with useless things not worthy in the end, oh well that's life, but towards the end of the week I had lots of laughter and well...amusement... My hunger pangs started kicking on Wednesday and so many foods appeared in my mind..hahaha!I shared this "food longing" to my friend Kathy...so we decided and agreed to go to Lachi's on Friday. Yessss finally Friday arrived...and by 5:40 pm we were sitting comfortably at Lachi's, actually it was my first time to be there (along Marfori Heights, just a few walk effort from Nanay Bebings). This is just a very small place, about eight tables only, but it is always filled with lots of customers that you must call for a reservation ahead of time. The foods are great! Blueberry Cheesecake!yummyyyy The smaller version of BlueBerry cheesecake that Kathy chose to order.hehehe I ordered Oriental Chicken with Rice because I am not comfo

My quiz book is now available for purchase at I-proclaim online bookstore. You can find the link at the bottom of this post. Thank you! After intense contemplation where to submit my book for publication, I had decided to take the most convenient option of publishing it under Dorrance's subsidiary publication--- I-proclaim press --with lesser financial obligation from me. This was my last option to see my book published and be available to international readers.  Because I am targeting an international audience for this book I made an ambitious effort to send my query to international publishing, to my chagrin, some of these companies responded with horrifying subsidy fee agreement!waaaaah...and since I am only living in a paltry salary, the sky rocketing shared cost (to cover final editing, illustrations and promotions) was simply unthinkable at the moment. But there's one publishing company that really gave me several options to decide, apart from the email they

ROYALTY FASCINATION

If there’s one topic I would love to talk endlessly, it’s ROYALTY .  My fascination towards the ROYAL WORLD started during the time I got so mesmerized with the life story of Diana, Princess of Wales. By then she was so famous and dubbed as the most photographed woman in the world, everyone was so enthralled with her beauty, charm and compassion and the media regularly printed articles about her.  When I started knowing her through books and magazines, I noticed how glamorous yet sad her life was. She was floating under fame, glory, fortune, admiration and beauty, yet she was largely ignored by the person she loved. She was so alone in her beautiful but lonely world and seemed needed someone to comfort her but the world she lived in was so unconcerned and insensitive. I was deeply moved with her sad plight. Eventually, I began reading news related to Royalty and that's where my love affair with European Royals started.   The late Princess of Wales, Diana. She was the l
