Womanhood is a gift!

I am smarter now how to cut people's nonsense prodding (on getting married) with my sharp tongue. Though sometimes I would just smile and made effort to keep my mouth shut and dismiss them as nuisance, their idiot and stupid comments would sometimes provoke me to utter hard-hitting words.

And just like a serpent with a poisonous sting, when provoked and irritated, I could easily hurl not-so-fascinating words.

What's the matter with people in the 21st century? Are their brain being sucked dry? Are they thinking that remaining single beyond 34 would make the world turn into a battle field and the global economy would sink to the bottom?

Haaaay, people who constantly wag their tongue about getting married are those who are absent when God spreads common sense, so why listen to them? Their views are just confined in the four corners of their bedroom. They are hardly ideal conversation-buddies.     

Aren't they know that the government can even benefit from it?

Aside from the huge withholding tax, singles cannot contribute to population explosion dreaded by officials pushing RH bill. And of course marrying late has great advantages when it comes to economy -- more matured, more stable, more self-assured, focus and determined towards family rearing, responsible enough to handle complexities in life and most of all cannot afford anymore to have half dozen kids. 

Singles have wide purchasing power capability. We can spend our income on anything we want. Purchasing power is one factor of consumption, an item in the calculation of GDP (gross domestic product) which measures the economic situation of a nation.

People have different perception about life. While others believed that their fulfillment and happiness can only be found in married life, others, like me, viewed human existence differently. I have my own priorities and goals and I have a different concept of fulfillment and happiness.

Okay, so while carefully building concrete plans for my future and analyzing where my life is heading, I came across with this wonderful article from Good to Know UK website about older women and its advantages.

I am far from going 40 but I love this article and the facts and evidences it presented of why older women are great lifetime companions.

According to a study conducted in a London University, while older women get happier when they age, men don't, so it's a good advantage if their wives are much older to compensate the missing link of emotion.

Older Women are more Independent

Women's financial and emotional security grows as the years pass. Their dreams and careers and wants in life are more define by this time, they are more secure, more confident and smarter than ever. 

Older Women are great Conversationalists

Let's admit it, no man would love to talk to a boring woman. As women go through life, they learn about various things, interesting topics and already gain intellectual confidence, they can talk anything under the sun and more confident in conversation than younger ones, in short, they are more fun to talk to.

Older Women are great Companions and Mothers

In reality, there are only two valid reasons why people get married. First, because of genuine love, second, because of companionship. Older women can be great companions because their confidence and sense of responsibility are well defined. The level of happiness is at high as they already know what they wanted in life. They can be great mothers too as their perception of parenting is already established

So there you go....a reason to celebrate womanhood! 

Now, I know why God allow me to remain unhook and still available in the dating world. Maybe because He wants me to experience the real meaning of life and be financially and emotionally secure first so that when time comes, I know how to balance things and will not break under pressure!

God is good!He only delays things but He never forget. Celebrate life, celebrate womanhood because it is a gift itself!
